Day 2

After a fairly relaxing first day we hit the tourist spots today. During the day we were at the Altantis Aquaventure Water Park, on the Palm.

Water parks aren’t top of my list of places to go but it was actually really good fun and, as you’d expect, the weather was amazing all day – non stop sun and about 28 degrees C.

We didn’t go on this!

After a few shots on the water slides, we went down to the beach and took in the amazing view:

In the evening we headed to the Skyview Bar on the 27th floor of the 7 star Burj Al Arab hotel for some drinks.

She fits right in!

We had a quick browse of the menu but decided against the Bon Fire and the Champagne…

1000 Dirhams is roughly £175...

We chose some drinks that were a bit easier on the wallet!

Once we were finished the drinks (and our wallets were empty!) we had a look around outside:

Even the wet floor signs are gold!

Which car to take home...?

Amazing – looks just like The Royal at home!! Could you send some of that weather this way please. The ice-cream will melt in that heat.

Loving the pics! If you get the chance to go to Dubai Mall do it! It’s fab and is right next to the Burj Khalifa. Was there but a week ago! Enjoy 🙂 xx
